Where Passion Meets Purpose
Suncoast Biplanes was created by Gareth and Joy Williams from a shared love of aviation, adventure, and connecting with people. Together, we offer unforgettable open-cockpit flights over Southwest Florida from Punta Gorda and Venice in Gracie, our beautiful WACO biplane.

Our PURPOSE is bigger than flight
We believe success is measured by more than what we earn or achieve—it’s measured by what we leave behind. Our purpose is to build a lasting legacy: one that reflects our faith, creates opportunities for others, supports ministry and charitable work, and equips future generations to make a difference.
For us, legacy isn’t simply about passing on wealth. It’s about passing on values—faith, generosity, courage, purpose, and a commitment to use whatever God places in our hands for something greater than ourselves. We want the resources we create today to continue blessing people long after we are gone.
Suncoast Biplanes is part of that legacy. It’s our family’s way of investing in eternity while creating moments of joy along the way. We love serving both locals and visitors across the Punta Gorda and Venice area with safe, memorable biplane rides—and using what we build to help others realize their God-given potential.
We reside in Lake Suzy, Florida. Our family includes Isaac & Carissa, Debs & Matt, Timmy, Bryce & Tara, Sean, and five grandchildren—Nehemiah, Norah, Andrew, Beatrice and Arthur. They are an important part of the legacy we hope to build and pass forward.
“Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.” — Matthew 5:48 (The Message)

Why we don’t operate on Sundays
At Suncoast Biplanes, we choose not to fly on Sundays because we believe in honoring the Sabbath—a day set apart for rest, renewal, and spiritual grounding, as taught in Scripture. In a world that rarely slows down, we find deep value in returning to timeless principles: stepping back, reconnecting with faith and family, and remembering that life is not only about motion, but meaning.
This day of rest is more than a tradition—it’s a quiet expression of trust, reverence, and gratitude. It's how we stay rooted, even as we help others take to the skies. In many ways, setting Sundays aside feels right for another reason, too: it echoes the spirit of a slower, more intentional time—the era Gracie represents: the Golden Age of Aviation, when values like simplicity, presence, and wonder were not just remembered, but lived.
At Suncoast Biplanes, we love our community and we’re deeply committed to giving back.
Supporting local organizations and charities that uplift, serve, and create lasting impact is a core part of who we are.
Though we’ve planted new roots in Southwest Florida, our hearts still hold strong ties to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
It’s where our journey began, and we remain committed to giving back to the friends and community who helped shape us. For us, generosity doesn’t have borders—it travels wherever we do.
